Code of Practice for Agents who subscribe to UKCISA
In 2012, the UK, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand jointly endorsed a Statement of Principles for the Ethical Recruitment of International Students by Education Agents and Consultants (known as the London Statement). Leading host countries all work with agents and the statement. This recognises that education agents and consultants are integral and important stakeholders in international education and the statement provides a basis for agents to work from.
We also encourage agents to attend training and follow the guidance from the British Council.
