UKCISA members projects and research

The University of Glasgow ran a workshop in March 2017 to explore support for international PhD students.  The report records the workshop discussion and provides links to further resources.  

ESRC IAA workshop: Towards Maximising International PhD Students' Experience 

The University of the West of England commissioned two UWE PhD students to carry out research in 2016 into the experience of international students studying at UWE.  The report outlines the research methodology and reports on the findings for UWE.  The results are relevant to non-UK students studying at other UK institutions and highlight particular challenges around accommodation and academic life.
