Members: international student experience projects and research reports on their way!

Most of you should have received our latest publications by now. For the past three years we have funded a number of our members to run pilot projects or research into an aspect of international student experience that we think the whole sector will benefit from.

This year’s 2016-17 reports include excellent research into recruitment, family relationships, international summer schools and how international students engage with students’ unions. Our pilot projects report covers an array of topics, including transition, social media for Chinese students, student safety and volunteering opportunities.

Each project or research piece offers recommendations and suggestions for you to run a similar initiative in your institution or students’ union.

If you’d like to share the document with colleagues you can also access it online ukcisa.org.uk/grants-scheme.
