UKCISA Conference 2018 - call for proposals is open!

We are really looking forward to the UKCISA annual conference in 2018: it's in Edinburgh and it takes place in our 50th anniversary year!  The conference will follow the theme for our anniversary year: Changing lives for good

Do you have an idea or a project or research that you would like to present? Or a workshop that you would like to run? This is your opportunity to make the 2018 UKCISA annual conference the best ever!

We are seeking proposals to run sessions between 30 minutes and 3 hours on the following broad topic areas:

  • Immigration
  • Immigration Compliance
  • Student experience
  • Staff support (eg staff wellbeing, workshops for staff)
  • SU interest
  • FE interest
  • Special interest (a niche area eg refugees, Chinese students)
  • General (of interest to anyone working with international students)
  • Other (surprise us!)

For more information and tips on how to submit a proposal and for a link to the online submission form go to our Submit a proposal page.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 15 January 2018

If you have an idea that you would like to discuss before submitting a proposal, please contact Director of Policy and Services, Julie Allen at dps@ukcisa.org.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
