UKCISA announces new Chair of its Board of Trustees
We are delighted to announce that when UKCISA’s Board met on Monday it agreed to appoint Professor Koen Lamberts, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of York, as Chair of its Board of Trustees, for an initial term of three years from 1 July 2016.
Professor Lamberts is Chair of the N8 Research Partnership and Chair of the Employers Pension Forum for Higher Education. He is also a Board Member of The Russell Group, the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership, the Outward Mobility Strategy Board, Universities and Colleges Employers Association, the White Rose University Consortium, the Worldwide Universities Network and Yorkshire Universities. Originally from Belgium, he has worked in the USA and then at Universities of Birmingham and Warwick (where he was Pro Vice-Chancellor and later Deputy Vice-Chancellor), Prof Lamberts has a particular interest in international links in general and international student issues.
